Student Coaches
10th, 11th and 12th Graders:
Only Council Rock high school students who are currently registered to play CRBA basketball and who have played in the CRBA program at least the last two years are eligible to coach. All students must be paired with another student and/or have a CRBA approved adult coach as co-coach. Tenth graders are encouraged to serve as an assistant coach before taking over a team as head coach. Coaches should be at least 4 years older than the teams that they coach.
The CRBA group coordinators will be encouraged to monitor student coaches’ practices and games. All coaches must be certified by NYSCA or similar CRBA coach certification. This can be done after sign-up.
All student coaches must be approved by CRBA board and have signed recommendation of current CRBA board member. No exceptions to above policy without express permission of CRBA executive board. When Section One is completed, please mail the form to CRBA, PO Box 550, Richboro, PA 18954. We will forward it to the appropriate age group coordinator for completion of Section Two.
