You are partially correct. We are letting the legal system do its work. Everything stated is the truth... so libel will not enter into the equation. However, should anyone wish to pursue the matter, criminal convictions of Janet Brouse, Cheryl Sattin, etal. are likely. Since we do not have the enforcement power, we can only tell the truth and hope to be heard.

You have my complete support.... In our current societal climate, it is very hard to portray the man as the victim of spousal abuse. People choose not to believe it could happen, but it does with great regularity. The legal system is stacked against the husband for this very reason and it's NOT right.

It would seem that the Internet, touted as the "Great Equalizer", will be the key to preserving our freedoms in the good ol' US of A. The "power of the pen" as Ben Franklin put it.
I say, let the truth be told.
The bias towards men in the family in modern day America is, to say the least, alarming.
Well, it's funny you should mention this. Ya know... using words to help? Using the truth to help shield the abused? In terms of modern music, two of the children's current favorites have to do with this sort-of thing -- "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies":
I am an arms dealer,
Fitting you with weapons in the form of words....
This ain't a scene, itís a goddamned arms race!
Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor, and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter. "And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."
I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality....
Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved. Well, this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne....
Ironically, there are censored versions of both of these songs for the radio. The kids can't understand... of all the words to censor... and that the word is censored in 2 of their favorite songs... er, a... why would they censor the word God?
Hmmmm... come to think of it... why would anyone want to suppress Good?

I do not know in detail the accusations made by Janet Brouse, her attorney, Ms. Sattin, and others. I do know that they have hurt the family deeply. And, as a friend of the family for more than a decade, I am sore dismayed.
I have objected to what I considered intemperate phrasing on the web in response to these accusations. Despite the vicious nature of the charges, my objections were considered.
The children do love their father dearly, and he in turn loves them. Separating them would be cruel and unjust.

What is a twin twat twiddler?
Why are you such an asshole homo-faggot?
You say you let a woman beat you up? Wussy!
What a loser!! Get a life!!
We will attempt to answer your questions in two parts.
Part I -- "What is a twin twat twiddler?"
Originally, what was published said, "twat twin twiddler". This was a quote from a protected source. It was used to help identify people such as yourself. However, when participants (such as the one above, sidd) object to what they consider "intemperate phrasing" we have to determine whether to censor a source. In this case, the phrasing was changed to read "twit twin twiddler". But, either phrasing seems quite temperate compared to yours?
Part II -- "Wussy!"
What you said is probably considered a "hate crime" (punishable by imprisonment.) As you didn't sign your name to it, who is the wussy? Or, perhaps a better way to say it would be, "Who is the coward?"
Anonymous, huh? Being anonymous suggests that one does not wish to be known for various reasons. The internet allows one to be a "real tiger" while sitting behind a keyboard when in fact their own lack of certainty in their words forces them to hide and be a true coward.
asshole homo-faggot......let's look at this in two parts. To be an "asshole" could suggest that one is really an anus and not a person at all. If we go with the more traditional slang version, it would suggest that one is stupid, mean, or contemptible. To be stupid suggests a pre-existing condition, sometimes correctable with study. Being mean or contemptible would lead one to believe you had thought out your position before being attacked and since this was not the case, and you were only reacting to external stimuli, there is no possibility that this could be true.
homo-faggot.....Does this person have prior knowledge and experience with your sexual orientation? If experience is the case, then this person also could be considered homosexual. The use of both terms is redundant as in, "Department of Redundancy Department". Faggot, if using the British definition would mean you are a cigarette. Truly bad for your health.
"You say you let a woman beat you up? Wussy!"...........Oh, I guess this person advocates hitting women first. Sounds like the kind of person who would put firecrackers up cat's rear ends. The prisons are full of people like this. I personally know of plenty of women who could very easily cause physical damage to most men. Perhaps the writer has experience in being "managed" by a female. Into the domination thing, huh?
Wussy is a combination of wimp and pussy suggesting that one is weak, timid, or unmanly. Well, maybe this budding Einstein has a better approach and we should all welcome further intelligence on the subject.
If you are a "loser", just what is it that you have lost? An abusive spouse? Is it better to endure the physical and mental pain. Quite to contrary, you actually become a winner in that you now have the freedom to live without fear and pain and are able to provide a safe environment for your children.
"Get a life". I thought you already had one? Obviously the writer doesn't have one of his/her own and probably wants yours. My suggestion is to not give it to him/her. ... please stay tuned.
